Room Integrity Equipment in use under test conditions.

Room Integrity Testing

The room integrity test informs you of how long a chosen fire suppressant agent will take to mitigate the effects of fire.

The testing equipment creates pressure in the room where the suppression system is installed and checks that the gaseous agent disperses as designed over a set period, suppressing, or extinguishing the fire.

The types of rooms

The most common environments that require integrity testing include server rooms, data centers, electrical cabinets, clean rooms, or any other enclosure with a gaseous fire suppression system.

The types of agents tested

We often test systems installed with FM-200, Novec, CO2, and Inergen, however, if you are unsure which system you currently manage, please use the contact form for support and advice.

What happens when a room fails the test

A test will show if the system or room fails and we can provide solutions to fixing the problem. Once identified, we can investigate room leakages and advise on solutions.

If you are in need of a Room Integrity test then follow the link to contact us. Or alternatively, look at our gas suppression page for more information about this service, which can be carried out periodically with the Room Integrity test.
